The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library invites area residents to “spring for books” at the annual spring book sale Thursday through Saturday, April 21-23, during regular library hours.
All types of books will be sold, including large print, mysteries, romance, cookbooks, gardening, history, inspirational fiction, and children’s books of all kinds. “We invite parents and grandparents to be prepared this summer by including affordable reading materials for your home,” a spokesperson said.
Other items will include DVDs, music and book CDs, jigsaw puzzles and puppets.
“The Friends of the Jefferson Public Library hosts this annual used book sale as a major fundraiser for our community library. Through your purchases, you enable our library to offer more resources for everyone to use and enjoy,” the spokesperson said.
Persons who want more information can call Barb Labate, book sale chair, at 515-386-5547.
